What the free badge is
An image served from our own domain that says the category, the city and the edition year, and links back to your badge page here. Because we serve it, we can improve the artwork without you touching your site, and it switches off by itself the day a business leaves the list. That is what makes it worth showing.
- Free to every ranked business whose profession's advertising rules allow a badge.
- Never sold, never part of a package and never a condition of anything.
- We do not ask for a followed link back. Link to us however you like, or not at all.
- It names your rank, your category, your city and the year. It never calls one business the best.
How to put the badge on your site
- Open your own badge page. Every ranked business has one, linked from the 2026 edition page and from its own profile.
- Copy the snippet on that page. It already has your business, your rank and your year in it.
- Paste it into your website where you want the badge to appear.
The snippet is a plain image inside a link. It needs no script and it loads nothing else from us. It looks like this, with your own details filled in.

</a>Keep the link. An image on its own is not a claim anyone can check, and the link is what lets a customer confirm your place for themselves.
The rules that come with the badge
- Every badge carries the edition year, so a reader can see how current it is.
- Leave the list and the image stops working. It is served live from here, so nobody has to police it.
- The badge says you are on a list. It does not say we endorse you, and it says nothing about your work beyond the checks we publish.
- Printing the badge, putting it on a truck or using it in an advertisement needs the print license that comes with the recognition kit below.
- Some professions cannot show a badge from a new organization yet. Where that is the case, no badge is issued to anyone in that category, whatever they offer us for it.
What the recognition items cost
These are the physical and printed pieces. They carry the edition year and they expire with the edition, which is also why they are the only part of recognition we charge for.

Buying any of these changes nothing about your rank, your score or anything an editor has written. It cannot, and the day it could we would have to stop selling them.
